The Kinder toilet cubicle set was designed in my last year at the University of Lincoln in a Brands based project. At the beginning of the project we made a list of various brands from the well known such as "Volvo" to some more obscure brands like "Continental", after creating our list we then began a list of random products. Once both lists had been filled our
head lecturer began pairing brands and products
together. The task i was given was to design a
product for the Kinder chocolate company - the
product i was given was a toilet cubicle. The
King-der toilet set help encourage kids to wash
their hands after they use the toilet, this is done
by offering the child a reward once their hands
are washed. Once the toilet is flushed a bar of
soap will fall into the sink encapsulated inside
the soap is an egg with a toy inside the egg
can be reached by washing the layer of soap
of, washing the childs hands in the process . The focus
of this project was primerally to regognise the brand in the product you were designing and give it an image that suits its market strategies. The project was graded on a final presentation where we needed to amalgamate our designs with brand straplines.
Straplines included
Kinder, its whats inside that counts
Plunk..... Surprise!
Be the King'der of the throne
