Tab

Tab is a cyclists multi purpose belt designed for the Chinese market in the year 2012.

The brief of this project was to design an object
for a 12 year old boy who was born in 2000 and
had grown up in the Ningbo reagon of China.
With this brief i was challenged to develop a
product that would apply to the local trends and
attempt to predict what i believed would be an
appropriate design for the future.

Tab is primerally a belt which uses a series of
hooks to allow multiple objects to be
connected to it. Tab has been designed with
cycling in mind as each of the hooks along the
surface of the belt is made using a light reflective
compound for safety when cycling or out on the
street. Tab uses a secure buckling system suplying strength for mutiple carrying functions and has an adjustable strap to allow for user comfort through various agegroups and genders.
